Everest Base Camp Trek - Monjo to Namche

When we started the day we had to go through the Sagarmatha National Park entrance were we had to get our back country permits and get our T.I.M.S cards filled out and stamped. After the quick stop you drop down to the Dudh Koshi were you follow the river for about 30 minutes then straight up the hill to Namche it is one of the toughest climbs of the trek. When we got to Hotel Everest, which was one of our favorite hotels on the whole trek, we relaxed and had lunch before Santa took us on a tour of the city and monastery. Namchee is a big village and it's the biggest concentration of Sherpas in one village. We are staying here two nights to help acclimatisation.
